Biography:

It is an honor to serve as the principal of McCall Elementary School and to work alongside such an extraordinary school community. I bring a deep passion for education and a strong commitment to fostering a safe, positive learning environment where all students can thrive. I firmly believe that education is a collaborative effort among parents, teachers, staff, and the broader community. Together, I am confident we can continue to cultivate an environment that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and a lifelong love of learning.

I was born and raised in Plano, Texas, and attended Plano ISD schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade. From a very young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. After graduating from Plano Senior High School, I attended the University of North Texas, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I began my career in Plano ISD as a fourth-grade teacher and team leader at Hughston Elementary before transitioning into the role of Campus Instructional Specialist and Dyslexia Specialist. During this time, I earned my master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas Woman’s University. I later served as the Assistant Principal at Andrews Elementary for five years.

While I have always felt at home in the classroom, I have found my greatest fulfillment as a school leader. This role allows me to collaborate closely with teachers while remaining deeply connected to students as they learn and grow each day.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am the proud aunt of four amazing nieces and nephews—Linkoln (11), Chandler (9), Finnleigh (7), and Knox (3)—whom you will hear me talk about often! I also enjoy shopping, crafting, and musical theater, and I have traveled to New York City more times than I can count to see Broadway shows.

I look forward to serving the students, staff, parents, and community of McCall Elementary this year. Please know that my door is always open, and I sincerely welcome your input and support. I am excited to begin this journey together and to continue strengthening the high standards of excellence that McCall is known for.

Biography:

Hello McCall Families,

I have been in education since 1993, teaching elementary, middle school, Gifted and Talented, and even serving as a Varsity Cheer Coach. Since 2016, I have had the privilege of serving as an administrator in PISD. I grew up in Dallas and earned my bachelor’s degree from UNT and my master’s in education from TAMU–Commerce.

I am blessed with two daughters and two bonus sons, and my wonderful husband—also an educator—teaches middle school in Allen ISD. On weekends, we love spending time with our granddaughter and grandson, who bring so much joy to our lives.

Working with children has always been my dream, and I am excited to continue my career with the McCall Family. Our mission at McCall is “to work together to develop the mind, heart, and character of our students.” With teachers, parents, volunteers, and students working together, anything is possible. Our school is a cornerstone of the community, and we strive to make sure every person feels welcome and valued.

Thank you for joining us in ensuring the success of every student.
