College(s): Graduated from SMU with a Bachelors of Science in Applied Physiology and Sport Management and a Masters in Early Childhood Education.

Teaching Experience: My name is Kelsey Carson, and it is a joy to be able to teach 1st grade for 4 years now at McCall Elementary.

About Me: I grew up going to Plano schools from Kindergarten all the way to Senior Year - Go Panthers! I've loved coming back to my roots and getting to serve a community that gave me so much growing up. After Plano East, I went to Kilgore College and then transferred to SMU in Dallas, where I graduated and received my Masters in Education. 

When I'm not teaching, my husband and I love getting to travel, hike, golf, and eat lots of Tex-Mex or Thai food together. You can also find me curled up on the couch reading while snuggling with my small dog, Brisby! One of my big dreams is to grow my own vegetables and flower garden in my backyard.
 
I am so excited to be able to teach first grade and instill a love of learning with your student. First grade is so special and we are going to make this year one to remember!
